We are a beginners’ group who have been successfully learning Italian without a tutor. No prior knowledge of Italian is assumed. We aim to introduce ourselves to the language spoken in Italy by using a range of resources and self-help materials such as books, CDs, television, radio and the Internet.
The group relies on mutual support as we all learn a new language together.
We meet every fortnight (first and third Thursday of the month) at 10am, in a group member’s home, and our sessions are about one and a half hours long with a short break for refreshments. The time between sessions can be used to put into practice the new skills we’re learning.
This established group is ideal for anybody who has been learning Italian for a short while.
