We are a beginners’ group who are looking to learn Italian from scratch. No prior knowledge of Italian is assumed. We aim to introduce ourselves to the language spoken in Italy by using a range of resources and self-help materials such as books, CDs, television, radio and the Internet.
The group will rely on mutual support as we all learn a new skill together.
We meet every fortnight (first and third Thursday of the month) at 10am, usually in someone’s home, and our sessions are about one and a half hours long. The time between sessions can be used to put into practice the new skills we’re learning.
This new group will be starting in Spring 2023 and will be an ideal springboard for anyone wanting to learn Italian from the very beginning.
The current U3A timetable slot for Italian is Thursday mornings at 10am.
