MOBILITY ACCESS INFORMATION AT THE FESTIVAL HALL
Wherever possible we aim to accommodate all members and visitors regardless of any Disability. If there are any special requirements not covered by the information below, members/visitors should see a Greeter (in the Blue sash) or a committee member who will be happy to help.
GENERAL ACCESS – access to the hall is DDA* compliant as the building is on the ground floor and access to the main building is via double doors.
TOILETS – a DDA compliant toilet and hand washing facility is accessible down a corridor from the main hall.
KITCHEN – is accessible through double doors from the main hall.
STAGE AREA – there is no access to the stage for wheelchairs and therefore is not DDA compliant.
CARERS – Visitors, prospective members and members who require a carer to attend can be assured their carer will be welcomed and need not be a member in order to accompany them.

ACCESSIBILITY AT THE NEW LIFE CHURCH (NLC)
There are several disabled parking spots immediately outside the main entrance for those members requiring these. Easy wheelchair access is available to all downstairs areas, with no step at the entrance, plenty space to move around between rooms, and separate disabled toilet facilities. The fire exit from the main hall now has a ramp for easy egress.

First entrance is through a garden gate with no step , then proceed approx.. 25 yards to house entrance with no step. Wheelchair access not available, but meeting room and required facilities are on the ground floor. |
| Bowling indoors | At Dunholme Bowls club. Adequate parking close to the entrance, including disabled spots. Wheelchair access confirmed. Mobility aids are kept on the premises, and “carers” can also assist those with mobility problems. |
| Discussion Group | Members House. Limited parking on opposite side of road. No step at entrance but wheelchair access not available. Meeting room and all required facilities are on the ground floor. |

| Recorder Group | Member’s house. Access to parking is via a steep uphill drive with a sharp left turn at the top. New members are advised to park on the roadside. Large step at entrance with no handrail. Wheelchair access not possible. Meeting room adequate for current number of members.all other required facilities are on the ground floor |
| Card making | Members House. Parking is immediately outside the house at the rear, in a small enclosed area. There is also another area close by out on the street which can be used generally by visitors .One step into the property entrance with no wheelchair access. All facilities for use during meetings are on the ground floor. |
