Have you ever heard mention of Beacon and wondered what it is?
Beacon is a computer data management system designed to help the volunteers that run our u3a.
It is a national system which has been designed by members of the u3a for our specific needs. The West Wolds u3a is one of many u3as that subscribe to this system.
It is of particular value to the Membership Secretary, the Treasurer, the Groups Coordinator and Group Leaders.
It helps by keeping all the details of our membership and financial information in a single, secure, data protection compliant space that is easily accessed by the members who have volunteered to take on these roles.
