This years Annual Open Art Exhibition will take place from Tuesday 1st July 2025 to Sunday 27th July 2025 in the Café Gallery.  As it coincides with the Wolds WORDFest (3rd to 12th July)  we have chosen the theme of Literature. The Exhibition will be open to view from Tuesday 1st July in the Cafe Gallery, join us for Meet the Artists on Friday 11th July 6-8pm in the cafe

The Bookshop Band comes to Caistor…

  • As part of the Wolds WordFest (supported by West Lindsey District Council) Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre are delighted to welcome The Bookshop Band to Caistor Town Hall on TUESDAY 8th July at 7:30pm.
  • The Bookshop Band is the offspring of an artistic love-affair between composers Ben Please and Beth Porter and a multi-award-winning independent bookshop in the UK, Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights. They write and perform songs inspired by books, inspired by hundreds of authors from Shakespeare to Philip Pullman, and have released thirteen studio albums featuring many of the authors they have worked with. This summer they will be releasing their 14th studio album EMERGE, RETURN produced by and featuring Pete Townshend, supported with a full UK tour.

As part of The Wolds WORDFest 2025, we invite you to join us for our Silent Book Club on Wednesday 9th July from 6:30 to 9pm.
Join us as we celebrate Literature Classics (bring your all time favourite book) and relax in the Café or find a cosy spot in the library, to read your book.  We will have Coffee & Cake or Wine & Charcuterie Cups available to enjoy while you read!

The rules are simple!
Arrive between 6:30-7pm, find a seat and get comfy!
We’ll take your order for food, drink and bring it to you
SILENT reading 7-8pm. No Whispers, no humming, no chit chatting with your neighbour, just reading.
After 8pm, keep reading, visit with a friend, make new friends and talk about books!

An Evening ‘Swifts’ Stroll around Caistor

A talk by Caistor Swifts Group with a simple supper followed by an amble around the central area of Caistor to watch the swifts feeding over the town square and to try and spot them popping in and out of their nest sites to feed their young and come home to them for the night.

70 – An Exhibition by women
as different as they are the same

  • 70 is a unique exhibition celebrating the lives of a group of women who have reached ‘three score years and ten’. It explores some of the societal changes that have taken place since they were born and how they see their lives going forward.
  • Creative, engaging, sometimes surprising and inspirational, the exhibition includes the 70 World Map showing which countries ten women have journeyed to beyond the U.K. during their lifetimes. How much of the world have they covered?
  • Which five famous 70 year old women feature in the exhibition? Visit 70 to find out!
  • This exhibition runs until 23rd August 2025
