  • Invitation to join Lindsey U3A on a coach trip to The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, with the option of a tour of the Smith & Pepper Workshop in the Jewellery Quarter.
We will be leaving Welton Village Hall at 8 am on Thursday 8th October to avoid the heavy school traffic so should hopefully arrive in Birmingham at approx. 10.30 amThe first stop will be the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for those that only want to go to there. Current exhibitions include the Staffordshire Hoard and the Pre-Raphaelites. There is a café on site. Those that want to go to the Jewellery Quarter will stay on the coach and be driven to the Workshop Museum. The first two tours are already full so you will have the option of joining the 12.30 tour or those scheduled for later. The cost of the tour is £10 per person paid for in advance. You do not have to go around the museum and can spend all your time (and money!) shopping in the Jewellery Quarter instead, as long as you get back to the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery for 4pm.The cost of the coach is £25 per person in advance either by cash, cheque, or BACS using the following detailsA/C Name; Lindsey U3A Group AccountA/c Number; 43774660               Sort code; 60-13-15Reference; visits/birm/’followed by your surname’     eg; visits/birm/thompson
