Unfortunately, Mandy Murphy can no longer continue as our Welfare contact but we thank her for the many years she diligently and sensitively carried out this valuable role for us.

Julia Francis has kindly volunteered to take this over so if you know one of our members or their family, needs a card of sympathy or get well from their friends at WW u3a, please let Julia know and a handmade card will be sent. 

A message from Mandy

I confirm that I will no longer be the welfare officer for West Wolds u3a with effect from Monday 10th March.

Not sure when I started, but it has been a long time and we have lost a number of valued members in that time. I shall miss the contact with members and will always try to be available for a chat if you want to keep in touch.  Some of these people I have known a long time, probably more than 12 or 15 years, taught their children, shared hotel rooms, enjoyed meals, and conversations on the various buses!! I would like to thank them all for their company and friendship. I will remain an Associate Member.
