Tai Chi

Originally developed in 13th century China, Tai chi is now practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise. It is a gentle activity, involving easy movements combined with deep breathing. Tai chi can help to reduce stress and to improve posture, balance and mobility.

Shelley studies Chen style Tai chi with her Chinese teachers and will run a short course through the winter months to share what she has learned. Sessions last for one hour and take place on Tuesday afternoons in the Festival Hall.
